About Us: Life Eco Friendly
Our Story
Hi, I’m Steph—founder of LifeEcoFriendly.com. I started this site because I love simple, realistic changes that make life better for you and lighter on the planet—especially the kind you can actually stick with.
I’m a mom of a teen girl, I work a 9–5, and most days are the busy kind of full—so anything I share here has to be doable in real life. When I’m not at my desk, you’ll find me outside with my dog, and in the kitchen making vegetarian meals that are simple, satisfying, and (whenever possible) low-waste.
What we believe: the “Cost of Care” framework
Every purchase has a cost—some you see on the price tag, and some you don’t. The Cost of Care framework is how we can look at everyday choices through a wider lens: what it costs your health, your home, your time, your budget, and the planet. This site (and my blog series) helps you make swaps that reduce the hidden costs without adding guilt or overwhelm.
What you’ll find here
Clarity (the hidden costs): Quick, honest breakdowns of what’s really being traded—ingredients, waste, longevity, and the time it takes to maintain a “better” option.
Low-lift swaps (real life friendly): Practical tips, checklists, and small-step changes that fit into busy routines—because sustainability only works when it’s sustainable for you, too.
Better value over time: Guides and recommendations that prioritize durability, refill/reuse options, and waste reduction—so your choices cost less in the long run (for your wallet and the planet).

If you like this approach, you’ll love the blog series. It’s where we share short, actionable notes using the Cost of Care lens—what matters, what to skip, and a simple next step you can try that week.
Also grab the free monthly PDF and sign up for our monthly news letter on the pop up page— and grab an easy “checklist” you can print and use right away.
